Disposable Encapsulated Capsule Filter is an integrated, ready-to-use all-in-one filtration unit with fully encapsulated housing and built-in filter membrane. No assembly, extra gaskets or secondary sealing required. It adopts disposable design to avoid cross-contamination, widely used for fine filtration of low-to-medium flow liquid and gas in biopharmaceutical, food beverage, laboratory, electronic chemical and cosmetic industries.

1: What is the difference between capsule filter and traditional cartridge filter?

Capsule filter is an integrated disposable device without extra assembly or gaskets to achieve zero leakage risk, its single-use design prevents cross-contamination for multi-batch pharmaceutical manufacturing and features ultra-low dead volume to recover more costly liquid materials, while traditional cartridge filter has to match reusable stainless steel housing and replaceable inserts with manually installed gaskets that bring hidden leakage risks, and it requires rigorous cleaning validation after every production batch.

2: Can this disposable capsule filter be autoclaved repeatedly?
Standard disposable gamma-sterilized capsule is designed for single use only, repeated high-temperature sterilization will damage heat welding seal and membrane. If you need reusable autoclave version, we provide special reinforced encapsulated capsule model for maximum 5–10 cycles of 121℃ steam sterilization.

3: Which membrane should I choose for sterile filtration?
For liquid sterile bacteria removal: 0.22μm PVDF / PTFE membrane; For sterile air vent: hydrophobic 0.22μm PTFE capsule filter.
